What if we could create an online world where we could use a handful of curiosity, a little bit of creative impulse, and a pinch of imagination.
Here we are ready!
Please scroll down for information about the Summer Online Camp 2025.
Haba Yete began as a children-centered project, designed to help children experience Armenian through games and creative activities. We are not here to formally teach Armenian; instead, we create playful, engaging spaces where the language is used naturally while creating and playing. No high-level Armenian skills are needed.
Over time, the project has expanded to also include educators and adults who wish to engage with Western Armenian in a more organic, creative, and playful way. We now organize workshops with educators who are interested in supporting their students to speak Armenian more naturally, as well as sessions for adults who enjoy playing with language, games, and creativity in Western Armenian.
The idea remains simple: when motivation comes from within, everything else follows. Our aim is to spark that inner motivation, so Armenian becomes not just a language to learn, but a living, joyful tool for expression, connection, and creativity.
We primarily focus on children aged 8–12, but we are open to designing sessions for different age groups.
Creative projects don’t follow rigid rules.
In addition, Haba Yete also offers workshops for educators and adults who wish to engage with Western Armenian through creativity, play, and meaningful connection.
Scheduled online workshop dates are shown here, with times listed in your timezone with a link.
When you apply, you can let us know whether you’re interested in:
▪️ A single session
▪️ Or 10 sessions you can use through out the year when you are available.
You’ll receive a Zoom link one day before your session, along with some simple instructions.
Each session lasts about 50 minutes. (Though sometimes the fun keeps going and we happily stretch it to an hour! 😊)
On-site workshops are designed through a collaborative process.
We begin by understanding the purpose of the workshop, the age group, and the context in which it will take place.
Together, we define the goals, format, duration, and time period of the workshop.
Based on these elements, a program is developed to match the specific needs of the request — whether for children, educators, or adults.
Once the framework is agreed upon, the practical organization and scheduling are finalized.
For more information or to explore the possibility of organizing an on-site workshop, please contact us directly.
If you’d like, we can provide an evaluation report on your child’s (or student’s/niece’s/nephew’s/grandchild’s/your) participation and progress.
At the end of each month, we’ll send a short summary of what we did — including the vocabulary we used during sessions.
This way, you’ll have the tools to reinforce language use at home too!
If the offered schedule is not convenient for you, let us know!
We’re flexible! Let’s work together to find a time that suits everyone. Just reach out — we’d love to coordinate.
We’re passionate about sharing our experience and knowledge in creative language learning, and our main focus is to continuously grow and refine our approach to teaching and learning Western Armenian.
If you’re an educator, we’re always open to collaboration and exchange. This can take different forms: from creative games and practices you can directly use in your own classes, to creative resources designed specifically for your teaching context, or tailored workshops organized with your students, either online or on-site.
Whether you’re looking for ready-to-use materials, inspiration for your lessons, or a collaborative workshop experience, we’re happy to explore possibilities together.
Here is the list of the schools and project we have worked with.
Our aim is to make these sessions accessible to as many children as possible. When we have sponsorship, the workshops are completely free.
At other times, you can pay per session or purchase a bundle of 10 sessions, which offers a reduced rate per workshop to use throughout the year.
We value experience and goodwill just as much as financial contribution — this project is not about being professional, but about community and shared purpose. If you’re unable to pay the full price, please feel free to contact us.
We organize workshops on Wednesdays for participants from Eastern countries (Australia, China, etc.) at a time convenient for them. You can select this option when filling out the registration form. See the workshop time in your local time.
